As Development Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of quality software products that meet the organization's business goals. The successful candidate will lead projects through design, planning, quality assurance and delivery.


  • Create internal and client-facing software
  • Management of multiple on-going software products
  • Define project requirements and plan time-lines for successful delivery
  • Create and deploy code using automated testing procedures
  • Maintain and manage existing source code
  • Identify operational improvements
  • Write documentation for software projects
  • Mentoring of junior team members
  • Analyze problems, assess solutions, and ensure resolution of software projects
  • Adhere to security best practices

Requirements (Must Have)

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 4+ years experience in software development
  • Strong technical skills in full-stack web development
  • Experience building web-based applications
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript development
  • Skilled in the use of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, XML, REST, and Web Services
  • Experience creating web applications with React.js front-end framework
  • Experience developing with Node.js
  • Post Secondary Certification
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Previous experience in creating customer facing software
  • Experience with source control using Git

Nice to Have

  • Experience with javascript framework like express, hapi, d3, and vue
  • Experience developing with Flash, ColdFusion, Python, PHP
  • Experience deploying software reliably to cloud infrastructure
  • Experience working with cross-origin resource sharing (CORS)
  • SSL certificate configuration
  • Experience with SQL and noSQL technologies
  • Windows and Linux server administration
