Starburst Creative’s Edmonton office is seeking a senior interactive designer or art director with five or more years of experience. Special consideration will be given to candidates with interactive agency experience.
The successful candidate will define the look, feel and interaction for websites, web applications, email and other digital media. The interactive art director will provide interactive leadership and mentoring to four other members of the design team as well as collaborate closely with the development team to strategize on interactive projects. This position will also work closely with the account services team and will be expected to liaise with clients in meetings and presentations, acting as an advocate for good design and simple and effective user experiences.
Candidates with additional experience in visual identity development and print design will receive special consideration. The interactive art director designer will also work closely with other members of the creative team and the rest of the agency to strategize, conceptualize and execute high quality creative across all kinds of media for campaigns and one-off tactics.
