Starburst is seeking a full-time Social Media Coordinator to join its growing team. This is a six-month position with the possibility of full-time employment upon conclusion.

The successful candidate will manage clients’ social media platforms – including scheduled and real time content creation, post scheduling, monitoring and reporting – and remain current on emerging social media tools, trends and technologies.

Above all else, we are looking for a social media champion – somebody who speaks the language fluently and believes deeply in its potential to shape stories and behaviours. Experience, while preferred, isn’t essential. We’re looking for the right person to fit into our team.

Candidates should possess:

  • Working knowledge of all major social media platforms and their functionalities, including scheduling and reporting, apps, best practices and advertising and business management.
  • Experience managing corporate social media accounts.
  • Contagious energy, big ambition and a natural flair for digital.

Preference will be given to candidates with advertising/marketing/communications agency experience.
